We are looking for a Wheel Repair Technician to join our team! The Wheel Repair Technician is responsible for inspecting, restoring, and installing wheels and wheel covers on all incoming units to ensure that all vehicles meet the quality standards that the company sets. If you have experience as a wheel technician, looking for new opportunities with uncapped commission potential, and seeking a stable position with no prospecting required – then this may be the job for you!

Responsibilities

• Receive next service repair job from dispatcher, team leader, or electronic technician terminal.
• Inspect incoming units for wheel damage.
• Remove wheels and separate from tires when necessary.
• Repair cosmetically damaged, bent, and cracked wheels.
• Reinstall wheels to manufacturer specifications.
• Partner with additional departments as applicable to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles before being brought to the next step of the reconditioning process.
• Keep informed of all safety guidelines of management and other agencies, especially the disposal of hazardous waste.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain the condition of both personal tools and shop tools.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a checking/savings account or pay card with routing numbers for ACH.Ability to communicate in an effective manner both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel.
• Self-motivated and diligent.
• Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail.
• Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality.
• Ability to operate manual transmission is a plus.
• Experience is preferred, but not required.
